Sovereign Grace Churches is a network of Reformed Baptist, continuationist congregations that grew out of the People of Destiny / PDI movement of the 1980s and was reconstituted as Sovereign Grace Churches in 2013. The network affirms the Doctrines of Grace, complementarianism, believer's baptism, and plural elder leadership, while holding a continuationist position on the spiritual gifts. AskCredo places Sovereign Grace in the A-tier as a broadly Reformed Baptist network whose pneumatology departs from the cessationist reading of the Westminster and 1689 confessions, and whose governance was restructured after the leadership controversies of the 2010s.
