Reformed Baptist (1689)

Overview

Reformed Baptist churches hold the Second London Baptist Confession of 1689, which follows the Westminster Confession almost word for word except where Baptist conviction required otherwise — chiefly on the subjects of baptism, the nature of the church, and the covenant. Most such churches are independent by conviction rather than members of a denomination, associating instead through bodies like the Association of Reformed Baptist Churches of America, Founders Ministries, Grace Baptist associations, and a wide network of unaffiliated 1689 congregations.
