Venture Church Network (formerly CB America / Conservative Baptists)

CBAmerica, Conservative Baptist Association
B — Broadly orthodox

Overview

Venture Church Network (formerly CB America, and before that the Conservative Baptist Association of America) was formed in 1947 by congregations leaving the Northern Baptist Convention over its drift from biblical authority; the network rebranded as Venture Church Network in 2023. Its congregations are autonomous in the Baptist tradition, hold biblical inerrancy, practice believer's baptism, and each local church sets its own confessional posture. AskCredo places Venture Church Network in the B-tier as a broadly orthodox evangelical Baptist network with no binding Reformational confession and significant internal latitude on soteriology and ecclesiology.
