The Calvary Family of Churches (CFC) is a church-planting and revitalization network founded in 2015 out of the Denver area, now numbering more than thirty autonomous congregations across nine states and two countries. It is unrelated to Calvary Chapel, with which it shares only a name. CFC subscribes to the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) and organizes its identity around five stated convictions: gospel centrality, God's gracious sovereignty in saving sinners, the empowering presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit, complementarian relationships in church and family, and missional disciple-making. Many member churches are also Southern Baptist, though affiliation is not required, and some participate in Acts 29. Its publishing arm is Acoma Press. AskCredo places CFC in the A-tier as a broadly Reformed Baptist network: its soteriology is explicitly monergistic and its confession is the BF&M, while its continuationist emphasis on the Spirit's empowering presence diverges from the cessationist reading of the 1689 LBCF, and the network's own doctrinal accountability rests on autonomous local leadership rather than a binding subscription.
