The Calvary Family of Churches (CFC) is a church-planting and revitalization network founded in 2015 out of the Denver area, now numbering more than thirty autonomous congregations across nine states and two countries. It is unrelated to Calvary Chapel, with which it shares only a name. Every member church subscribes to the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) and to five stated convictions: gospel centrality, God's gracious sovereignty in saving sinners, the empowering presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit, complementarian relationships in church and family, and missional disciple-making. Many member churches are also Southern Baptist, though affiliation is not required, and some participate in Acts 29 or the EFCA. Its publishing arm is Acoma Press. AskCredo places CFC in the A-tier as a confessionally Baptist network with an explicitly monergistic soteriology — its own statement affirms unconditional election, effectual calling and perseverance in as many words — while its continuationist emphasis on the Spirit's empowering presence, and the fact that its binding confession is the BF&M rather than the 1689, place it outside the Reformed Baptist stream proper. Doctrinal accountability rests on autonomous local leadership rather than a binding subscription beyond the BF&M.
