Canadian Reformed Churches

CanRC, Canadian Reformed
S — Strict confessional

Overview

The Canadian and American Reformed Churches (CanRC) are a confessional federation in the continental Reformed stream, traceable to the 1944 Liberation in the Netherlands and established in North America by post-war immigrants from 1950 onward. The federation holds strictly to the Three Forms of Unity and to a covenantal, Word-centered liturgy drawn from its Book of Praise. The Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary in Hamilton, Ontario trains its ministers in continental Reformed exegesis. AskCredo ranks the CanRC in the S-tier for doctrinal rigor and a worship life ordered by the Reformed confessions.
